Shidoin David Simpson of Kumiai Ryu Martial Arts System in Cowra will be conducting karate classes at Canowindra Public School from Wednesday, May 13th. There will be two classes a week; one starting at 5:30pm for kids aged 6-11 years (KR Little Ninjas), and one at 6:30pm for those 12 years and older.
‘I’ve been considering starting these classes for quite a while,’ said Shidoin David. ‘These classes will give them a chance to train with us and may even encourage them to travel to our Cowra Dojo from time to time.’
KRMAS is Australia’s leading self-defence learning system. It is realistic, effective, and easy to learn, and all instructors are officially accredited. The style focuses on the whole student, not just their martial arts abilities, ensuring they receive an appropriate amount of personal attention. Classes are graded based on age and experience.
The program teaches more than physical techniques and exercises, it emphasizes life skills using various games and drills to teach children about important concepts in a way that is fun and easy to understand. Each week, students work on a particular skill or concept they can use every day, with the idea of enhancing their lives. Contact Shidoin David Simpson on 0427 400 222 for information and bookings.
