Canowindra Bowling Club is delighted to welcome Lusi Austin back to the stage for a special Mother’s Day weekend edition of Saturday Nights – Live in the Lounge. An accomplished author, musician, content creator, and speaker, Lusi embodies a creative spirit that transcends her soulful voice and dynamic energy.
Her original compositions have graced stages from Melbourne to New Jersey.
Notably, she wrote, composed, cast, produced, and directed the Australian theatrical work ‘Intertwined,’ which was performed last year at the Cowra Civic Centre.
Additionally, she penned the lyrics for the ‘World Peace Suite,’ performed by the Sydney Youth Orchestra.
At the core of Lusi’s artistic pursuits lies a profound desire for authentic storytelling and genuine connection with her audience. “My sisters and I grew up singing, and my parents listened to a wide range of records,” she reflects. “One of my favourite songs is probably ‘Waterfalls’ by TLC, or ‘Price Tag’ by Jessie J. Ultimately, I enjoy reading the crowd and helping people have a memorable night.”
After being diagnosed with systemic lupus in 2020, Lusi took a step back from live performances. With her health now revitalized, we are grateful to have her return to Canowindra!
