The free ‘Sunday Sessions at The Bowlo’ have been creating a buzz in Canowindra and it will continue on Sunday 6th January from 3-6pm with Bathurst local Lueth Ajak. Describing his performance as “a cheeky yet soulful style” this South Sudanese, Kenyan/Australian youngster describes his inspirations
as being “African styled music and a mix in of westernised music. I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, lived with lots of family and we enjoyed music as a part of our lives.”
Lueth started doing gigs in the NSW Central West back in 2012. Talking of the transition from Sydney shows to the NSW Central West he say’s “It’s different, I feel there’s been a growth of art culture in the west more and more. The music and night scene in Sydney has slowed so much that the shift has turned towards those side of the mountains”.
Lueth has endless reviews praising his amazing vocals, performances and the ability to “work a crowd” plus comments such as “Amazing mix of old and new songs, he has an amazing voice!”
