Local Tyre Service Forges Ahead

6 July, 2016 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

We dropped in to see the team at Canowindra Tyre Service this week to see what they can offer to Canowindra locals and the surrounding areas. It’s been six months since owners Alison and Tom Stephens took over the business and they together with their team, Tahlia Pearce and Gavin Ratcliffe, are now well and truly settled into their roles. Combined the four bring extensive knowledge, skills and experience to the local tyre industry.

As we arrived at the building it was hard not to notice the slick new look. Canowindra Tyre Service has a modern feel to it, with bright orange and navy décor and sharp branding emblazoning the front of the shop. Inside, there is an extensive range of Exide batteries and tyre brands such as BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, Mickey Thompson, Hankook and Kumho, with many brands available overnight. Accompanying the new look of the building is the look of the staff, who are all dressed in smart, professional uniforms.

Services on offer include bike tubes and tyre repairs, motorbike tyre and tube repairs, passenger tyres, truck and trailer, 4×4 and all things agricultural. People are also welcome to drop in any day of the week for complementary tyre checks. “It’s a very friendly business environment,” said Alison and Tom; “We’ve had great support from the community. We’d also like to make everyone aware that we offer our callout service. If it’s a weekend, or late at night and you get a flat tyre in a paddock.”

“We feel you shouldn’t have to pay for an out of town service. You can get quick and reliable service right here in Canowindra.” In the near future the team plan to hold agricultural information evenings with different suppliers. Canowindra Tyre Service want to offer great service to other businesses and farms in the area. “By offering a good agricultural business service it keeps everything on the land running smoothly” said Alison and Tom; “We’re looking forward to continuing to build this relationship in the local and surrounding areas.”

The team have just finished their most recent promotion, which saved customers $100’s on sets of tyres, and plan to have a new promotion every month so keep an eye out for future bargains on their Facebook page or pop into the shop.
