Taneil Thornberry graduated last week from CSU Bathurst with a Bachelor of Communications (majoring in Journalism). The degree took Taneil three years of study and workplacements around the region, including time at Prime 7, Fairfax and The Canowindra Phoenix. During her time at University, Taneil studied electives including advertising, marketing, PR, literature and social studies as well as her two journalism classes.
Taneil said, “I am very excited with being able to graduate, as this is just the beginning of what is yet to come in the next stage of my life. I am looking forward to putting everything I’ve learnt into practice to allow me to do more of what I love.” Taneil commences her role as reporter at The Canowindra Phoenix in January 2017, where she will also be responsible for all social media for all of the papers in the Phoenix Group.
Taneil is the daughter of Angela and Michael Thornberry, and grandparents are Betty and Ted Coady and Tony Jenkins and Sharon Waide.
