Litter Bugs And Vandalism

13 August, 2020 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

The litter left strewn near the Swinging Bridge in Canowindra.

Have you noticed rubbish being dumped in and around Canowindra lately?

It has been brought to the Phoenix’s attention that on several occasions rubbish is being dumped near the Swinging Bridge in Canowindra. This is such a shame as it such an iconic and lovely area of the village.

Another resident of Canowindra was also upset by the sight that welcomed her to Fishermen’s Bend, near Moyne recently.

Burnout and fishtail marks were all through the lovely green grass. “It is so sad that some brainless individuals have to spoil this lovely space for others,” said the concerned resident.

It is up to everyone in Canowindra to keep the town safe and keep it clean. Let’s respect these special places in our village.
