Cabonne Council is seeking expressions of interest from persons to work at Council’s Swimming Pools at Canowindra, Cudal, Cumnock, Eugowra, Manildra, Molong and Yeoval.
Council require individuals who would be available to work weekday and/or weekend shifts on a casual basis from November 2022 to March 2023.
The casual positions will suit a range of candidates; parents, high school students, university students, and weekend workers.
No previous training is required. Council provide training, support and great pay. The following selection criteria is desirable:
• Current Pool Lifeguard Licence and/or Bronze Medallion, or willingness to obtain;
• Current First Aid Statement of Attainment, or willingness to obtain;
• Current Working with Children Check clearance; or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills;
• Well-developed verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills;
• Ability to manage time and to plan and organise own work.
• Council will provide any training on the above requirements should the successful applicant require it.
Council will provide Royal Lifesaving training on 14th, 15th and 16th October 2022. This includes first aid certificate and the entire pool lifeguard qualification.
Applicants must be reliable and commit to working at Cabonne Council Swimming Pools and working the days and hours of operation of the Pool; and be willing to work under a roster arrangement as required.
