Hello to everyone in Canowindra and district from Al and Deb Symons, hoping you are all well and looking forward to spring.
We have noted there has been good rains recently so hopefully all bodes well for those on the land.
We had two weeks at Dundee Beach 130kms west of Darwin with mixed fishing results, blue salmon, rock cod and blue bone fish off the bank.
If you want the big game fish you need to book a charter boat and that costs a mozza.
Had some mud crabs donated by a neighbour absolutely great.
Sandflies (midge) bad up there but nice 33 degrees and plenty to do.
Back down to Katherine for a couple of days then down towards Tennant Creek and then east across the NT to Qld town of Mt Isa, about 1,700kms to the Isa.
On the way had first tyre blowout in 6 years 90kms from Mt Isa, we do need to replace tyres on caravan so this week a full 4 set tyres onto the van.
Just to also prove everything does not always go smoothly the van fridge decided to play up so still working on that.
End of week heading towards Townsville
so cheers everyone and stay safe.
Regards Al and Deb
