Exploration Licence Application No 6024 was advertised in The Canowindra News on 5th August 2020.The proposed mineral exploration licence covers:
• Thousands of acres of agricultural land – some of the Canowindra district’s most productive farming and grazing country
• A large chunk of the town of Canowindra itself, including the central business district
• Some of Canowindra’s famous, self-watering lucerne flats Part of the Nangar National Park
