Dear Editor,
I would like to thank the Canowindra Knitters even though we have been unable to hold meetings this year they have produced 35+ wraps so far.
We have received a message from Orange that our wraps together with others from the Orange district have been sent to CWA groups on the South Coast to be distributed to fire victims.
Thanks to those who have donated wool with a special thank you to Barry Burn for his kind donation which enabled us to buy a lovely supply of wool from the Canowindra Craft Shop.
There are bags of wool at the HACC Office in Gaskill St so if you need wool ring and arrange to pick up a bag.
Thanks again to all knitters for your efforts and to Bev Wilson for sewing your squares into completed wraps.
If you can knit why not try your hand at producing a rug or just a few 20cm squares to provide warmth and comfort for those who need it.
Thanks again,
Nina Kallas
