To the Editor,
Hello to all in Canowindra and districts from Al and Deb Symons. Hope you all had a good Christmas and Happy New Year as we did.
Early in December we headed to Western Australia to spend Christmas with son Geffro but over in WA we got held up with bush fires for 3 days on the Eyre Highway eventually got over and had a great time. On the way back the same highways shut again with same fires still going.
We ended up in Esperance as far as we could go, what a great place to be marooned at for the next 12 days. Did the full tourist thing while there as Esperance has the best looking beaches and coastline we have seen, great food and sightseeing.
As of now we are in South Australia at Wallaroo a beachside town in the Spencer Gulf. Have a site right on the seafront and will try for a fish soon. Well that’s got us up to date and will relate more later.
