We would like to thank everyone who supported Emily Thomas in getting her and her Coach Ernie Shankelton to Mackay for the Oceania Games recently.
It was an amazing experience for Emily and she has learnt so much about competing in big events.
As a small country town like Canowindra to have a great coach like Ernie Shankelton to coach our kids and pass on his knowledge of Hammer Throw, Shot Put, Discus and Javelin is amazing.
Thank you to everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets and attended the Val Hood night at the Canowindra Services Club.
