Dear Editor,
I was worried and upset to receive my water sewage bill this week and to see it has gone up $8. In the last 12 months the rates have gone up by almost $100. As a pensioner I cannot afford these prices. I want to know what sort of infrastructure they doing that could warrants these rises? I rang the council and the lady told me that the bills will continue to rise. We are the highest ratepayers in the state, it is ridiculous the amount we pay! I implore everyone to write to the General Manager of Cabonne Shire and complain. If someone doesn’t speak up nothing will change.
