Dear Editor,
My husband and I were in Sydney recently, picking up his leg which had just been serviced in Germany. That is a story for another time perhaps. Needless to say, my husband is an amputee and had to have a loan leg for a while – yes it is quite funny is some ways.
Anyway, when we got home we were very thankful to find our lawn mowed by a marvellous, mysterious mower. My husband and I try to live by the verse: “do to others what you would want them to do to you.” Recently, it seems that the shoe has been on the other foot and we are so very thankful for these small, but significant acts of kindness that happen in our town.
If we all continue to pay it forward and show kindnesses such as these with no thought of a reward, wouldn’t the world be such a better place?
Thanks again to our mystery mower. I hope today you may have the opportunity to bless someone or be blessed by someone in this way.
From Sue Hodge
