Letter to the Editor…

8 May, 2019 By editor

To the Editor,

The Easter Family Fun Day held on Easter Saturday in Morris Park, Canowindra was a true community event. Folk from the following families and
households contributed some combination of their own personal time, skills, stuff, or money:

Boatwood, Boland, Bowd, Bulivou, Bullock, Carne, Cuddy, Falls, Fliedner, Harris, Hodge, Kerr, Newcombe, McGuire, O’Neill, Percival, Perry, Pfeiffer, Rankin, Rutter, Read, Stevenson, Travilla, Trudgen, Turrise, Urquart and Wilcox.

The following local businesses and community groups contributed by providing facilities, equipment, materials, services or food – often for free or at a generous discount:

Canowindra Creative Centre, Canowindra CWA, Canowindra Public School, Délice Coffee, Foodworks Canowindra, Fusion Australia (Central West), Indecisive Party Hire, Lachalan Valley Mennonite Church, Lawrences IGA, Lions Club, Moyne Aged Care Plus, Muzzy’s Quality Meats, Orange PA Hire, Perenialle Plants and Wallington Wines.

The LORD our God blessed the day and much fun was had by kids and grownups alike. The people of Jesus in Canowindra are thankful to all who helped and all who came. May the LORD bless you and keep you.

Kind Regards,
David Bullock
