The Tigresses fought hard against Grenfell on Saturday, who pulled out some fine attacking moves which Canowindra responded to well. A few early tries put Grenfell on the score board but the girls didn’t give up. Krystal went over with a beautiful chip and chase in the dying second of the first half to keep the score within 2 points.
The second half was an arm wrestle with neither team willing to back down. Grenfell managed to cross the line another 2 times before the end of the game and the final score was 6-20 in Grenfell’s favour. The Tigresses are going back to the drawing board before taking Grenfell on again in the semi-finals next week.
