On Sunday the Canowindra Tigresses ventured to Eugowra to verse Condobolin for a spot in the Grand Final. The Tigresses started strong although one last try to Condo cost them the game with a final score of 18-12. Bonny Wythes scored the first try for the ladies in the first half with Condobolin matching the score before half time, making the half time score 6 all. In the second half, Condo were able to make a runaway try to get out in front although Krystal Coker evened the scoreboard again to 12 all. Jamie-Lee Edwards, Eryn Coles and Tanika Wensley put pressure on the opposition with fantastic breaks. Unfortunately Condobolin squeezed in one last try with Canowindra being unable to match it. The last few games have been tense, with every point vital for a make or break result. Luckily Mel Rue the goal kicker, excelled by converting all the tries in the last few games. The Tigresses operate well under pressure and are already preparing for the fight against Eugowra this weekend with Grand Final in their reach. Good luck ladies!
