Canowindra vs. Grenfell Friday 2nd May – The girls started off the night with a very close win of 32 – 30 against Grenfell. Canowindra came back really strong and determined in the second half, boosting their confidence to defend their home grounds as they kept Grenfell out of their territory. Coach Michael French stated that the girls showed a level of maturity far beyond their experience to remain calm to work through numerous repeat sets on their own try line. A big Congratulations to the Coker sisters Krystal and Jess as Krystal lead her team as Captain and was awarded Players Player for her phenomenal skills and incredible control of the game and Jess was able to score her first try of the season. Great work to all girls who scored tries this week: Caitlin Walker 2, Jess Coker 1, Hannah Roth 1, Krystal Coker 1 and Alicia Earsman 1.
