It was a great day for bowls on Tuesday and two social games were played. Daphne Bryant, Dianne Mooney and Libby Balcombe defeated Penny Nash, Cristy Webb and Joyce Boland 20-8. Dianne Slattery and Marion Wilson defeated Jeanette Wheeldon and Jenny McClintock 22-12.
Three Rose Bowls handicaps were played. Gwen Haydon defeated Betty Jenkins, 25-9. Sharon Wynn defeated Jenny Middleton, 25–24. Christine Pickard defeated Sandy McDonald 25-22.
Next week the Rose Bowl semi will be played by Gwen Haydon v. Christine Pickard. Marker Betty Jenkins.
