The Patterson family from Kinellar Poll Dorset Stud in Canowindra had a successful weekend at the Dubbo Hoof and Hook competition. Kinellar took out Champion Sucker Lamb in the competition for dressing % / yield at 56.09% and were very proud of a certain Pen of Three Poll Dorset Rams (pictured above). With the judge commenting that they had the muscling of carcass, structure and evenness and were awarded second place at the NSW Sheep Show.
This great success for Kinellar reinforces the fact that evenness pays in the yard and over the hook. Well done!
