Who will be this year’s Canowindra Show Young Woman?
The Canowindra Show will take place on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th September 2022 with planning well underway.
This year the Canowindra Show Young Woman and Rural Achiever Program will take place after a two year break due to COVID.
Some key dates for the diary in relation to this program include:
• Thursday 25th August at 8pm an online Information Session for all interested this will be carried out over Facebook Live.
• Thursday 1st September all applications are due.
• Saturday 17th September interviews will be conducted and a lunch will be held.
• Saturday 24th September at 2pm Presentation of winners at The Canowindra Show.
The age categories for the major programs competition this year are:
• Junior Young Woman: 14-17years
• Senior Young Woman: 18-26years
• Rural Achiever Program: 18-30years (both male and female)
On Show day (24th September) there will also be the Jillaroo and Jackaroo competition, registration for Jillaroo and Jackaroo will occur on Show day at the grandstand at 1pm.
