Kendal Street ‘Open For Christmas Street Festival’ NOW ON 22ND DECEMBER

21 December, 2016 By editor

With the inclement weather last Friday , the Cowra Christmas Street Festival has now been moved to tonight. Christmas is a magical, yet busy time of year, no more so than at the Cowra Christmas Street Festival. The main street of Cowra, Kendal Street will be closed
down and reopened as a twilight market place that will be jampacked with locally handcrafted wares, soaps, jewellery, candles and more. This festival is the perfect time to tick off your Christmas shopping list with unique gifts that will be treasured.

All things Christmas exist at these markets, from the traditional to the quirky, thanks to such a vast array of people and artisans. The
retailers and market stallholders are committed to ensuring shoppers have all they need for the big day. The Festival are happy to
welcome back the much adored Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre Christmas Wonderland, the Macquarie Street Food Court and of course Santa and his elves.

Visitors can also enjoy an enchanted experience in the Christmas Wonderland at Squire Park with free workshops and complimentary
festival Santa photos, a fantastic range of family attractions and entertainment options and several mouth-watering food vans to
choose from across Kendal & Macquarie Street. Join in all the fun that The Old Kentucky Farm offers, get up close and personal, pat the animals and even help the farmer with feeding time. The farm will feature the likes of Peppa and George the pigs, Milkshake and Lavender the alpacas, Mike, Mali and Mindy the lambs as well as Skip and Tinkerbell the goats. There will also be some smaller animals to hold such as ducks, bunnies and two very naughty kittens who like to escape!
