Kelly Rimmer Launches The Midnight Estate At Canowindra

6 August, 2025 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Author Kelly Rimmer and the cover art for her fourteenth novel: The Midnight Estate.

Local author Kelly Rimmer is launching her latest book The Midnight Estate at Canowindra. Meet Kelly Rimmer at Canowindra Services Club, hosted by Canowindra Library on Monday 25 August at 10.30am.

Kelly Rimmer is the author of historical and contemporary fiction. With three million books sold, her stories have been translated into dozens of languages and have appeared on bestseller lists around the world, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.

Her fourteenth novel, The Midnight Estate, is a gothic epic spanning generations, inviting readers into the heart of a family’s darkest secrets with an absorbing book-within-a-book mystery.

In the aftermath of a tumultuous year, Fiona Winslow finds solace in the decaying grandeur of Wirimbura, the rambling family estate. When a book, The Midnight Estate, catches her attention, Fiona is plunged into a tale that mirrors her own life – a story of love, loss and betrayal. She dismisses the similarities as coincidence, but as she’s drawn deeper into the story, the lines between fiction and reality blur, and Fiona must ask herself: how well does she know her family?

Books will be available for sales and signings on the day for $29.99 each. The event also includes refreshments. Book your place online or call Canowindra Library on 6344 1796.
