Members of the Canowindra Pythons Rugby Union Club visited the Public School and St Eddies last week to share their love and knowledge of the sport. Mark Brown, Martin, Phil Townsend and Todd Wyburn asked the children questions about rugby union and handed out Waratahs memorabilia. Mark Brown also spoke of the importance of friendship in the sport and how each team member supports the others. After the quizzing was over they headed out from St Eddies hall and played a game on the field. For anyone interested in rugby union there will be a Walla Rugby Sign-Up day on the 27th March at the Oval from 3.30pm. there will be a free BBQ and all boys and girls aged 5-12 are welcome.
