Junior Cricket.

Canowindra Jnr. Cricket had two teams compete this year, 10’s/Milo & 14’s, in the Cowra Jnr. Cricket Competition.

The 10’s/Milo had games all season in Cowra combining with Cowra children to play and learn bowling, batting & fielding skills. Ken McNamara was their Coach.

The 14’s played against four Cowra teams in their competition making it through to the elimination finals which they won.

The Presentation was held Thursday 6th March 2014 at the Canowindra Bowling Club, with the following awards being presented. 

U/12’s 

CJC Coaches Award – Nic Jeffrey

CJC Encouragement Award – Marshall McKay

U/14’s  

CJC Batting Award – Hudson Izzard at 25.3

CJC Bowling Award – Will Wright  at 9.3, Tim Starr at 9.3

CJC Coaches Award – Joe Coady

CJC Encouragement Award – Austin Pengilly

U/10s 

CJC Batting Award – Sammy Austin

CJC Bowling Award – Mikey McNamara

CJC Coaches Award – Will Grant

CJC Encouragement Award – Hugh Breen

Perpetual Trophies & what they stand for

Rising star Awards –  Shown commitment cricket, good skill level,  potential for further development in the game.

CJC Club ‘TRUE BLUE’ Award – A club player who has played the game in the right SPIRIT, good SPORTSMANSHIP , team player,  give their best,  looks to improve, encouraging  –   Winner  –  Jamie Austin
