It’s Time To Rug Up

17 May, 2017 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Winter is coming and nights will only be getting cooler. There is nothing worse then waking up in the middle of the night searching for another blanket as you shiver uncontrollably to keep yourself warm.

Consider adding layers to your bed this winter to ensure a warm and peaceful nights sleep. Wool mattress toppers, bed underlays and an electric blanket are all great starts in keeping you warm.

This winter opt for flannelette sheets or sheets with a higher thread count, use a mid-weight wool blanket and feather donnas are also ideal for the cooler conditions.

One of the most affordable and old school options for keeping warm is the hot water bottle. You will be surprised how well these work in keeping you toasty throughout the night.

Winter doesn’t have to be all dark and dreary. Liven up the bedroom with different patterns, colours and textures by adding a new throw, quilt or pillows.

Sleeping in on a cold, rainy day can be delightful when your bed is cosy and warm. The right bedding can make all the difference in ensuring you have the best nights sleep.
