Emily Thomas will be selling raffle tickets this Saturday, 28th October outside Lawrence’s IGA.
Local athlete Emily Thomas is headed to Perth from 7th – 11th December to compete in the hammer throw at the All Schools Nationals where she will be representing both NSW and her school, Canowindra High.
The next few months will be an extremely busy time for Emily, with many competitions leading up to Perth. Then in January, Emily is off to Wollongong for the NSW Country Championships, to Sydney in February for the NSW State Championships, and then to Adelaide for the Australian National Championships.
Emily will be holding a raffle to help her raise the funds needed to achieve her dream. The Canowindra’s Men’s Shed has kindly donated a garden bench with wheels that will be raffled to help Emily with travel expenses.
Emily will be selling tickets outside of Lawrences IGA on 28th October, 11th November and 18th November. Tickets cost $2 each or three for $5.
