The Breast Screen Mobile Van will be visiting Canowindra for the first time this May! This enables the community to access to a service that can assist in the early detection of breast cancer.
Appointments will be available on the van which will be located at the Canowindra Showground. Please tell your friends, family and colleagues and encourage them to book an appointment.
One in eight women in NSW will develop breast cancer in their lifetime; alarmingly less than one in two women attend regular breast screenings. Free breast screens are available for all women aged forty and onwards. For a short half an hour every two years having a breast screen can offer peace of mind.
