Department of Primary Industries is hosting a free Hazard, Risk, and Resilience Workshop in Orange on 27th September. The DPI are looking to draw as many regional primary producers, agribusinesses, and rural landowners as possible for the event. The session will cover how to:
Properly prepare for and respond to natural disasters that could harm your farming operation,
Recognise and assess the dangers associated with local natural hazards,
Learn how to use risk management tools and the risk management process and
Learn why including risk management in your company strategy is important.
