After the success of the last Harvest In The Park in August, thousands are expected to flock to Brougham Park this Saturday for the final instalment of these markets for 2014.
And with close to 100 stallholders confirmed, this is set to be the largest one to date. “The event has just snowballed and we now have a waiting list of stallholders eager to participate”, said Cowra Tourism Manager Arabella Fingleton. There will be plenty of variety amongst the stallholders, who promise to deliver a mixture of produce, food, festive gifts, clothes, accessories and more. New additions to the throng include Canowindra-based MAGGE Designs, Lavendilli-Blue, Milne’s of Mudgee and Twisted River Wines. These new stalls will join favourites such as Pee Wee’s Bakery, Starlette Candles and Second Mouse Cheese Company as well as Cowra retailer Hippity Hop.
“The markets are building in status across the Central West and in Canberra and we are thrilled that Cowra is establishing itself as shopping destination” said Ms Fingleton.
“Cowra Tourism is focused on hosting events that will attract visitors and appeal to locals as well. It gives locals another reason to enjoy their town and visitors feel like they are getting a true Cowra experience on top of all the world class attractions Cowra has to offer,” she continued. Make your way to Brougham Park this weekend from 9am to 2pm for an outdoor shopping experience to the tune of local, talented musicians who will be performing throughout the day.
