The Canowindra Choir has been practicing in preparation for Carols in the Church this weekend.
For the past few months, the Canowindra Choir under the skilled tutelage of Ros Bullock, have been practicing for Carols in the Church to be held this Saturday 14 December from 6pm in All Saints Church.
Head along for a spectacular show filled with your favourite Christmas carols. Sing along with the Christmas tunes you and your family know and love, and experience the wonder and true meaning of Christmas.
At times, life can be tough and the current economic downturn, ongoing flood recovery and cost of living has continued to make life challenging for many in our community.
Singing is one way to lift our spirits, and has been proven to positively impact a persons overall wellbeing. Let’s get enough people together this Saturday to raise the roof of All Saints Church.
“I hope that we can have a time of fun, joy and community but also of healing for the year’s struggles, hurts and pains. Together we can show that the message of Christmas is still valued and that some traditions are worth keeping,” said Sue Hodge.
‘Peace on Earth’ is a rare commodity in our world. but we can all bring a little peace to our own community. The smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in another person’s life. Share a smile with your neighbour, bake a cake for someone who is doing it tough, make amends in that difficult relationship. There are many ways to share a little good-will and celebrate the reason for the season.
