Rural Bin Service would like to service the Canowindra area in the future. Contact RBS to register your interest by phone on 0431 721 858 or via email at contact@ruralbinservice.com.
Following an article published int The Canowindra Phoenix a couple of weeks ago, (RBS) has been overwhelmed by the interest in their rubbish collection service.
RBS provides waste collection services to rural residents and commercial businesses who do not benefit from council waste collection services. Established in 2016, Bathurst locals Michael and Shelley Ovenstone now proudly service over 550 residents and businesses throughout the Central West. Their service area covers Bathurst, Oberon, Blayney, Cowra, Orange and the little towns and roads in between.
Shelley is heartened by the response. “We are very thankful to all that have expressed their interest so far,” she said. “There is definitely interest and need for our service and we are excited at what the future holds for the locals in the area.”
Plans for the service in the Canowindra and Woodstock areas are beginning.
“We really hope to have some services up and running in the area by the end of May and then continue to expand the service coverage area as required over the coming months. During the coming week we will be contacting everyone who has reached out to us to discuss our plans moving forward,” said Shelley.
Anyone still interested in the service is encouraged to contact Shelley and Michael for a friendly chat. Their service includes a regular collection cycle, which eliminates the need to phone for collection. Bins are supplied by the service at no additional cost. RBS also offers an SMS reminder service, ensuring you never forget bin day!
