Tommy Jeffs, owner of the Deli Lama and Montrose House, has come up with a brilliant new way to lift our mid-week moods. Tommy has become a modern day ‘muffin man’, delivering free banana muffins to all the shops on Gaskill street for morning tea this Tuesday.
Tommy said the idea was spontaneous, “It’s quiet on a Tuesday and a lot of us haven’t seen each other for ages. I thought I’d bake up a batch and hopefully make everyone laugh and put them
in a happy mood.” The idea seems to be working as Gaskill street workers were left with big grins after the tasty visit. Hayley, who works at Canowindra Pharmacy, said;
“They were yummy! It’s nice to have a morning tea time where you have something other to eat than biscuits!” Cheryl Newsom, publisher of the Canowindra Phoenix, said; “Absolutely delicious, what a lovely surprise to arrive on a Tuesday morning, it made my day.”
Tommy visited most of Gaskill street with his basket of treats including Kim Lowe Interiors, the Phoenix office, Canowindra Pharmacy and the doctors. “ People in the doctors asked me what I was doing there I said feed the doctor up so he can treat all of you!” Thank you for feeding our street Tommy!
