The fine weather over the Easter Long Weekend ensured a good roll up of players to the Canowindra Golf Club.

On Good Friday the 18 hole Par 3 event sponsored by David Carman was won by Helen McSpadden with a net 45. Runners up were Helen Kemper and Brian Moon.

On Easter Sunday the annual Flannery Family 3 Person Ambrose event was played with the winners being Ian Stapleton and his team. The runners up were Julie Fairley, Steve and James Fairley. Nearest the pin winners were Emerson Barrado, Julie Fairley, Dale Thornberry and Frank Hutchins.

On Sunday 24th April the annual Tin Hat 4BBB vs Par event was played. This was the 70th anniversary of the event, the first was held in 1952.

The winners of the event were Robbie and Chuck Lawrence with a score of +8. The Golf Club thanks the Canowindra RSL Sub-Branch for sponsoring the day.

On Sunday 1st May an 18 Hole Stroke for the May Monthly Medal and Murray Cup Qualifier will be held, the sponsor is Brian Moon. Please note the clubhouse will not open until 4pm due to a power outage. Tee off will commence at 12 midday. Those players who need to keep rehydrated will need to bring their own fluids.
