Sunday 27th December the men played an 18 hole stroke, sponsored by the golf club. Winner with 69 nett was Brian Moon.

Last Wednesday was Tradies Day, a 2 person ambrose. Winners were John James and Shawn Craven with 62.25 nett. Runners up were Dean Murray and Darren Hamilton with 68 nett.

The first game for the new year for the men was a 4BBB stableford. Winners were Don Taylor and Rowley McCall with 43 points on a count back. Runners up were Brian Moon and Don Ward also with 43 points.

The second game of the year was an 18 hole stableford. Winner was Brian Moon with 39 points. Runner up was Ross Noble with 38 points on a count back from Frank Hutchins.

Last Saturday the club hosted this year’s Volkswagen Scramble with 17 teams playing. Winners were Sam Livingstone, Bret Gilmore, Dylan Gilmore and Jeremy Tadman with nett 57.25. Runners up were Adam Rogers, Troy McClintock, Matt Devlin and Mark Grant with a nett 58.75.

Last Sunday men’s golf was a 18 hole stroke and the playoff for the gold medal. 11 out of the 12 monthly medal winners contested for the gold medal. There were a lot of good scores on the day.

Winner was Don Taylor with nett 65. Runner up was Brian Moon with nett 66 on a countback from Rob Lawrence.
