Get Ready To Party: Furnace And The Fundamentals Are Back!

25 March, 2026 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Furnace and The Fundamentals delighted crowds at the 2025 Canowindra International Balloon Festival.

Dust off your dancing shoes and clear your calendar—the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge is bringing the ultimate party to town! On Friday, April 17, the 2026 festival spirits will soar as the Home Ground Sounds concert takes over the Canowindra Sports Complex for a night of high-octane entertainment.

Headlining the evening are the undisputed legends of party music, Furnace and The Fundamentals. Known for their “Furnapalooza” stage show, this six-piece powerhouse delivers the greatest hits of all time with infectious energy, choreographed antics, and enough showmanship to light up the night sky. From Beyoncé to The Beatles, they don’t just play the songs; they create a non-stop, singalong spectacle that you have to see to believe.

The party starts early with a stellar lineup of support acts to keep the vibes high – MES Entertainment DJ, Toni and Lenny along with Sik As.

Gates open at 5pm, making it the perfect Friday night out. Grab a spot on the grass, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy the delicious offerings from a variety of on-site food trucks. For the adults, a fully licensed bar will be available to help toast to a magnificent festival week. This is a strictly no BYO alcohol and no glass event, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all ages.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of the most anticipated night of the 2026 Balloon Calendar. Secure your spot now by visiting www.canowindrachallenge.org.au.
