In its 151st year, Orange Show will host a rodeo at the community-based event in May for the first time in nearly 20 years.
Come one, come all, as the volunteers of the Orange Show have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure an action-packed day is planned for all showgoers.
“The Orange Showground will light up on Saturday, 13th May, as the local show is back again and is gearing up to be a big one,” explains Orange Show Society Vice President Rebecca Blandford.
The show’s extensive list of attractions includes: Freestyle Kings Motor X display, Orange Show Rodeo, Diesel and Blue’s Pet Show, Lawn Mower Races, Dog High Jump, Circus McCabe, as well as the traditional livestock events and sideshow alley.
“There’s plenty of opportunity for the community to get involved. After all, this event’s whole purpose is to showcase Orange and the local community,” Rebecca said.
Some competitions you can enter at this year’s Orange Show include cooking, craft, photography, flowers and plants, honey, homebrew, lego, scarecrow or produce.
