Last Saturday lucky Garden Club members travelled to the outskirts of Blayney to “Cloudyhill”, a wonderful native garden owned by Alex and Fiona. The garden boasted many types of native plants and trees with spectacular views. The couple moved from Canberra in 2006 and have since put time and thought into their home and garden to make it a special place they were kind enough to share. Afterwards the Club went to Drayshed Nursery for a picnic lunch, where they browsed at the nursery’s innovative wares. It was then home to Canowindra to check out the Twilight Markets. Thank you to the patient bus driver who helped pack plants into the bus without complaint. Thanks also to Gwennyth McCarron and Anne Ward for organising the outing.
