The Canowindra Open Garden Day is on again this year with seven new gardens being open to the public in the Canowindra area.
The Garden Day will be held on Saturday the 22nd October from 9am-4pm. Admission into the gardens is $20 or free for children under the age of 18. Tickets are available at the Canowindra High School Office before the event or can be purchased at either garden 1 or 7 on the day.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be available at the Canowindra High School’s Canteen Courtyard throughout the day, so be sure to come along and check out the new menu and area. All proceeds from the day will go to the Canowindra High School P&C. Come meander through the gardens and take in the tranquility that each garden provides. A variety of gardens are on show with
each one offering something different from blooming flowers to shady trees, traditional to modern art and views of river flats.
It is the perfect chance to come have a look and get some ideas to help you create that special space of your own. Get the girls together, or the blokes and make it a day out as it is the perfect opportunity to get inspired and get active as you wander through the gardens.
Gardens that are included in this years open day are: Kathryn and Nicholas O’Ryan, Pauline and John Jani, Jean and Jim Goodacre, Jeanette Wheeldon, Heather Vallance and Peter Lowe, Terry and Dianne Mooney and Janelle and Mark Pearce. With so much variety be sure not to miss it.
