As I scrape the first big frost of the year off my windscreen with a plastic rewards card, continued with washing it off with water I continue to wonder why I choose to live in such a cold place, for someone who obviously hates the cold.
I then get to do a story like ‘A Home Making A Difference’ on page 1 and I soon realise why I am still here. Canowindra has one of the most generous communities that I know of and everyone gets in and lends a hand.
It is not only the locals that make my day but the inspiring stories I get to write. Meeting Jemimah and talking through their sustainable home designed for triplets Anwen, Mahalah and Gideon, restores my faith in humanity.
What they are doing not only for their children but for the environment is something that I hope others are inspired to do.
I hope you all enjoy Issue #439.
