From A Labour of Love to a 5 Star Retreat

16 January, 2014 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Kyle Manning, the Manager of Everview Retreats purchased a bare block of ground in 2002 and finished construction in 2006 of the two cottages which presently make up Everview Retreats.

They were successful in winning New Tour- ism Development Award INTA 2006, they were finalists in the 2007 NSW Tourism Awards as Unique, finalists in the Deluxe and Hosted Accommodation INTA, and were finalists in the 2008 Unique Accommodation as well as the Cowra BBA.

There are plans for a third cottage and further plans for a swimming pool and wedding venue. Kyle has planted 6000 trees on the property and believes that it just keeps get- ting better and better.

Over the Xmas break a couple from New York City stayed for 14 nights, and are now returning for a further 2 nights. They loved everything about the place; it offered peace and tranquillity, wide open spaces and great views.

“We can supply grocery essentials and recommend local restaurants to our accommodators, like Lot 31 in Cowra, Taste Canowindra and Neila Restaurant, Cowra”, Kyle said.

Premium wines are supplied to each of the cottages by Gardeners Ground, which are organic wines based nearby.
