Tony Grant, President of the Canowindra Pythons Walla Juniors team is ecstatic after the team received sponsorship from the Senior Pythons team.
“The juniors would like to thank the seniors for being so generous and supportive of the Junior Club,” Tony said. “The sponsorship will cover the insurance and registration of all the 7’s, 9’s and 11’s.”
Graham Rice, Treasurer of the Pythons senior team handed the cheque over to Tony Grant this week. “We donated the money to encourage junior football participation,” Graham said. “Sport in general is good development for character and teaches kids good future life skills.”
The Junior Pythons are proud to be hosting the Central West Rugby Union Walla Rugby teams to their annual Gala Day. Everyone is invited to get out to the Canowindra Sports Complex to support kids and sports in the community this Sunday from 9am. With a raffle, fun foods and a Lion’s Club jumping
castle, this is a great day out for the whole family.
