Cousins, Nerida Cuddy and Paul Colman will perform in a folk vs pop “song-off” battle at Rosnay on Friday night.
When cousins, Nerida Cuddy and Paul Colman, reunited after Paul had spent the last 22 years as a musician based in Nashville, TN; it didn’t take long for them to decide to make some music together.
Paul signed on to produce Nerida’s next album, and they’ve had a lot of fun preparing the songs while Paul also enjoyed getting to know Nerida’s family. Paul and Nerida decided to record the songs in Nerida’s home town of Canowindra, NSW, and to include a shared concert, where a few of the album songs could be recorded with a live audience.
To celebrate their first joint performance, they will stage a mock folk vs pop battle, a “song-off” where the cousins will trade song for song in a spontaneous and entertaining musical challenge.
This great battle will all take place this Friday, 10th November at Rosnay’s cellar door, 7pm for a 7.30 start. Tickets are available through www.rosnay.com.au
