The countdown is on for the 2015 Orange Wine Festival with over 100 events across three jam-packed weekends from 16 October to 1 November, inviting visitors to discover the food and wine of regional NSW’s most celebrated region.
The Orange Wine Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary, promising the biggest and best festival program to date. The signature events kick off with a tasting of the trophy-winning wines from the Orange Wine Show on Saturday 17 October at the Agricultural Pavilion where you can select your favourite for the people’s choice awards.
Wine in the Vines on Saturday 24 October will transport visitors between cellar doors to meet the region’s winemakers. Drop in to the Orange Wine Festival Night Markets on Friday 30 October to browse over 50 stalls in the beautiful outdoor playground of Robertson Park. Wine Central is the place to start your vinous adventure as Union Bank becomes the festival hub from Monday 19 October. Collect information about each unique event, join in
winemaker discussions and taste cool-climate wines before hitting the road to wineries and restaurants.
“Come and taste our wine, meet the wine makers, eat the freshest produce prepared by our many talented chefs and relax listening to local musicians,” says Orange Wine Festival Chair Michelle Stivens.
