Farmers Meet And Greet For Balloon Week

The Canowindra International Balloon Challenge is just around the corner, with festivities kicking off on 26 April with the Canowindra Street Party. The excitement will continue through the week, with the first launch taking place on Sunday, 27 April when the first balloons will take to the sky at around 6am (weather permitting).

A key element for the Balloon Festival is the Farmers Meet and Greet, where local landholders have the chance to connect with Balloon Director, Brendan Mulloy.

This is essential for ensuring safe landings throughout the region.

The Meet and Greet will be held at the Canowindra Services Club on Saturday 5 April at 6pm. The Balloon Committee is encouraging all large landholders to attend and engage with Brendan to discuss flight routes and possible landing sites.

The Canowindra International Balloon Challenge runs from Saturday 26 April to Sunday 4 May, featuring an array of exciting events throughout the week. From breathtaking balloon flights to community celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Head to www.123tix.com.au and grab your tickets early for key events including the Canowindra BBQ Masters, Home Ground Sounds featuring Furnace and the Fundamentals and the Cabonne Community Balloon Glow.

Don’t miss out on this spectacular event as the skies above Canowindra come alive with color and excitement!
