Newlyweds Mr and Mrs Tangye

Newlyweds Mr and Mrs Tangye

On Saturday, 8th of March 2014, Brad Tangye of Canowindra (son of Colin and Sharon) married Sian Rowlands of Eugowra (daughter of Karen and the late Rowland) – under the watchful eyes of their close friends and family.

The venue of the wedding was at Eat Your Greens in Eugowra in which they catered and set the scene for a truly fairy-tale story wedding. Even though grey clouds loomed in the distance and thunder crackled from afar, it did not dampen the spirits of everyone as they awaited the arrival of both the bride and groom.

Sian’s arrival was very ‘Cinderella like;, as she arrived in a horse and carriage pulled by two beautiful white horses. As the carriage pulled away, Sian was revealed in her lavish white dress with an embellished bodice and flowing skirt. She was walked down the aisle by her brother Gethin with her dad in spirit walking by her side.

Eat Your Greens offered an array of fabulous canapés ranging from mini quiches to tartlets of salmon and cream cheese and sushi. The mains were a choice between pork belly and beef with the star of the night being the tasting plate of deserts! Apart from the beautiful 5 tier wedding cake, there was an array of choices for deserts including chocolate mousse, cheesecake, mini meringues and chocolate tarts.

All guests had a fabulous time with music played by David Duke, and were kept happy by the wonderful bar staff that made sure no one went thirsty. The night ended respectively with the bouquet toss (caught by Hannah Gilroy) and the removal of the garter that stopped everyone in their tracks!

Mrs Tangye's time capsule - what a great idea!

Brad and Sian are now happily husband and wife, with that they now share a promise, a lifetime and two children – all the best for the future.
