Have your say on the draft 2025 water sharing plans for inland surface water areas. The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water has extended the closing date for public exhibition for the below water sharing plans.
• Belubula Regulated River Water Source 2025
• Lachlan Unregulated River Water Sources 2025
The department has allowed for additional time to seek comment from water users, industry bodies and communities affected by these water sharing plans. The closing date is now 11.59pm AEDT on Friday 10th January 2025.
A further extension has been provided for comments on the prescribed wetlands.
Comments are welcomed until 11.59pm AEDT on Sunday 2 February 2025.
