Joel Tongue and Cassandra Donnelly will give a professional dance demonstration on Sunday 26th June.
Canowindra is excited to be hosting a dance event like no other, with 12 hours of dance on the agenda on Sunday 26th June from 10am to 10pm.
The marathon dance session is a chance for the community to get out and enjoy themselves, and for beginner and experienced dancers to try out their moves.
Organisers Gail Davis and Graham Aylen said it’s a great chance to get out with the community. “The last two years have been cancelled due to Covid, so we’re really excited to be back!”
There will be Old Time and New Vogue Dancing on display as well as a professional dance demonstration from Joel Tongue and Cassandra Donnelly. Two live musicians will be playing with Barry Whitty playing in the morning and Phil Redenbach playing for the afternoon session.
People are encouraged to come along and listen to the music, have a go at dancing, or just sit and enjoy the day. Tea, coffee and nibbles will be available at the event.
The Canowindra 12 hours of dancing will be held on Sunday June 26th from 10am at the Canowindra Services Club, tickets are $10pp with no bookings required. For more information call Gail Davis on 0417 747 338.
