Tommy's new designs in the hardware store window

Tommy’s new designs in the hardware store window

Tommy from the Deli has splashed his talent all over the old Hardware Store opposite his café. With the help of Kate and Sarah Barclay, Tommy voluntarily decided to dress up the Hardware windows in an attempt to wow visitors that are expected to flow into Canowindra for the upcoming Balloon Challenge. One side showcases bits and pieces from his house that promote the upcoming Tallulah Artiste show which is set for the 22nd April at the Canowindra Services Club. The middle window displays an ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’ with little bunny rabbits, Easter eggs and bright colours for the imminent festive season.

“We are expecting so many visitors in the forthcoming week and I think that this building is beautiful but does look a little sad. I’m thinking of decorating the windows for every special event to add a little colour and excitement to the town. I mean, what little kids won’t get excited about seeing Easter decorations in the window”, Tommy said.

Tommy’s talent and experience window dressing at David Jones in his past life have definitely shone through, lighting up one end of the main street and adding a little bit of pizazz to Canowindra’s historic façade.
