Emerging rural artist, Elyssa Storey, presents her highly textured acrylic paintings depicting the Australian landscape from an aerial perspective in a solo exhibition at Rosnay Organic Cellar Door.
Inspired by the breathtaking aerial views of the Australian landscape, Ascend is a collection of heavily textured paintings that replicate the natural patterns and textures of the earth. From vast agricultural fields to striking coastal and salt lake formations, each piece explores the interplay of light, shadow and surface from above.
With Canowindra’s Balloon Festival setting the scene for an aerial spectacle, Ascend invites you to experience the beauty of the land from a fresh perspective—one grounded in earthy tones, raw textures and organic movement.
The official exhibition opening will be held at 12:30pm on Sunday 4 May at Rosnay Organic Cellar Door, Rivers Road, Canowindra. The exhibition will run from Thursday, 1 May to Tuesday, 27 May, and will be open daily from 11am – 5pm.
